Welcome to my 5th grade class! I am so excited to get to teach all of you and share in your experiences discovery! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. My parents are Steve and Malinda, and I have two older brothers, Ryan and Reed. I also have a sister-in-law named Christina.
One of my favorite things to do, besides teaching, is traveling. I have been all over the world because I love to see new places and learn all sorts of new information. Another thing I love to do is read, which I'm sure you have figured out if you have visited my classroom! I developed a love for reading at a very young age and I hope to instill this love in you as well!
This is my fifth year teaching. I began teaching 2nd grade at Glen View, and I have been teaching 5th grade here at Hillcrest for the past three years. I am currently working on my National Board Certification I have loved my experiences so far and cannot wait to begin another great year with another great group of Hawks!
